Mindfulness Based Self Expression (MBSE) with Kazimea 11:00 to 12:00 Zoom. In this gentle class, you will use simple art projects to ground yourself and give kind attention to your sensations, feelings and thoughts. You will learn to shift from self judgement to self acceptance, and nurture less stressful relationships with others. You don't need to be an artist, this class is about the process, not the drawings you produce. Materials needed: Blank paper; pencil and/or pen; pencil crayons or felt pens; glue or tape. We have a limited supply of materials available, please contact us if you would like us to put some supplies together for you. Join Occupational Therapist Martina Forster for a 2 part Educational Workshop that will help Head Injury Survivors navigate memory issues. One of the most common symptoms that Survivors have to cope with is memory loss. The two sessions will include, understanding how memory works, strategies to help with memory function and a variety of memory exercises.
